  • Students Attacked By Yellow Jackets On Field Trip

    A swarm of yellow jackets has attacked a group of 8th graders on a field trip. Four students and a teacher were hospitalized with one student being stung some 40 times. Students from the College School in Webster Groves were on a field trip at Rockwoods Reservation in Wildwood last Thursday when a nest of yellow jackets was somehow disturbed. The bees went after the students and teachers.

    It was almost a great upset, but it turned into an upsetting comeback. Middlesboro travelled to Clay County Friday night and built a 35-7 lead midway through the third quarter of their Appalachian Bowl game. But the Tigers found a way to get back in the game and won it 43-42.
